Cashew Butter

  • Total time: 40 minutes (roasting, cooling and blending time)


  •  200g cashews (or as much as you want to make)


  •  Preheat the oven to 175°C.
  • Spread the cashews on a baking tray.
  • Bake the cashews for around 12 minutes (stir twice or three times in between to roast evenly)
  • Allow to cool.
  • In a food processor, place the cashews and blend until smooth (this will take about 10-15 minutes).
  • Make sure you stop the blending in between to scrape down the edges and to avoid the food processor overheating.
